Flotilla

Your fleet of coding agents.

Flotilla is a Mac app that keeps every Claude Code and Codex session together, from every project, running or past. You still use the real CLI in a real terminal. Flotilla helps you find sessions, switch between them and come back to them.

Flotilla's window: four sessions in the sidebar, each saying whether it is working or waiting; ⌘K finding a session by what was asked in it; a terminal beside a session; the project's files, and a Markdown file in the editor and then rendered.

Everything in one place

Flotilla works around the coding agents you already use and never replaces them.

Every session, found

Flotilla finds your Claude Code and Codex sessions in all your folders and lists them by folder. Gather them into projects of your own, even across folders. Add another Mac or Linux machine you reach with ssh, and its sessions and files join them. ⌘K finds any of them by name or by something you asked in it.

The real CLI, kept running

Start a session or resume any past one. It runs the normal claude or codex in a fast native terminal, with several side by side as tabs. Sessions keep running when you quit Flotilla, when it updates and even if it crashes. Reopen it and each one is where you left it.

Know who needs you

Each running session shows whether it's working or waiting for your reply. ⇧⌘\ lays every open session out as a card, with what you last asked it and the end of its reply. When a Claude Code session stops to ask you something, the Dock icon counts it. Your plan limits sit at the foot of the sidebar.

Artifacts you can find again

Easy access to every artifact your Claude Code sessions publish. The status bar shows the open session's, and ⌘K searches all of them by title.

Files and Git at hand

A file panel and a light editor with Markdown preview. ⌘-click any path an agent prints to open it. The status bar shows the branch and whether there are uncommitted changes.

Your sessions from your phone

Flotilla keeps a session of its own in the Claude app's Code list. Write to it to list or search your Claude Code sessions, resume any of them, even one that ended hours ago, or start a new one. It needs Claude Code signed in with a claude.ai account, and your Mac awake.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or laterRuns natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  • Claude Code or CodexAt least one of the two CLIs, installed and signed in. Flotilla runs them. It doesn't include either one.
  • Git, for the Git featuresOptional. The branch in the status bar and Open File use it. Any Git works, including Apple's command line tools.
  • Nothing elseFlotilla comes with its own tmux, which keeps sessions running after you quit.

Install

  1. 1
Download and open the DMGIt's signed and notarized, so macOS opens it without warnings.
  2. 2
Drag Flotilla into ApplicationsThen eject the disk image.
  3. 3
Open FlotillaIt reads your existing sessions by itself. There's nothing to set up or import. Once you let it check for updates, it offers each new version as it comes out.

What Flotilla sends

If you let Flotilla check for updates, it asks getflotilla.app once a day, giving its version, your macOS version and whether your Mac is Apple silicon or Intel. Copies from before 0.2.0, when it was called Nookbun, ask nookbun.staging.run. If you turn on Share usage details in Settings, it also says once a week which features you used and how much.

It never sends your sessions, prompts, files, folder names or paths, or anything that tells your Mac from another. Dataflair publishes none of what it counts.
